WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER FOR
FALL 2024
A CHANGE OF SCENERY AND SOCIALIZATION
Homeschooling parents know all too well, the challenges of providing our children with socialization and variation. Creative Nomads can fill that gap. This is a place where creativity, invention and expression are encouraged and nourished. They will have the freedom to be wild and see where their imagination takes them. This is a haven to grow a deep connection with themselves and others.
Creative and performing arts
This is a place that fosters self expression in all forms. Singing, acting, dancing, photography, videography, creative writing, music composition, painting, crafts, and construction are just a few of an endless list of activities that can be covered and assisted with. Most importantly, the children will have the opportunity to explore what artistic forms resonate with them the most, then create original works. The available combination of nature and technology, allows exploration without limitations.
The Society builders project
If our children could run the world, what would it look like? How would it work? How would they use their skills and talents to mold their way of life? Would they create laws? Would there be currency, or would they have a trade and barter system? What would they invent? How would they solve problems? How would they handle personal conflict? Here they will be able to organically experiment with these questions.
Participants will design and construct their own society with natural, repurposed and recycled materials. As they gain skills and produce works of art, they can integrate them into their developing collaboration. They will also take part in building their stage, and art gallery.

FARMING, LIFE Skills, Sustainability, Recycle
We have a passion for the magic of growing our own food. In the fall and winter, participants will grow an indoor garden and micro greens and build a hydroponics system. In the spring and summer, they will design and plant a mini farm filled with various vegetables, herbs, and flowers. As time progresses they will learn to maintain and harvest the fruits of their labour.
Participants will do simple indoor and outdoor cooking. They will bake breads, pies, and cakes. They will also make pasta from scratch, grill vegetables, make soups and more. Best of all they will have the farm to table experience. Once they've cooked their meals, they will set their own tables and follow the etiquette they create.
Learning to make recycled artisan paper is a gift that lasts a lifetime. Participants will make a mould and deckle and be provided with various vegetation and used paper to make paper pulp.
There will be an inventors station, where there will be a variety of the supplies and recycled materials to create to their hearts content.

STEAM
There will be STEAM specific activity stations for science, technology, engineering, art and math. They change each week and will always be accessible for children who may need to decompress independently.
